CHRISTIAN EDUCATION COMMITTEE
Plan and administer the total educational program of the Church; provide for an effective organization of the Church School; recommend curriculum for all educational endeavors; provide for a Vacation Church School; provide a Communicants' Class annually; oversee youth fellowship groups; enlist Sabbath School Superintendents, teachers, and pianists as vacancies arise; promote attendance at Synod; encourage Board of Deacons in the maintenance and improvement of educational facilities; oversee the Church Library.
MEMBERSHIP AND EVANGELISM COMMITTEE
To visit, nurture, and assimilate the membership of the Church; to encourage inactive members; to ascertain and visit prospective members; promote special programs or weeks of evangelistic emphasis and develop an evangelistic consciousness among the Church membership.
Work with the minister and music committee in the planning of corporate worship services; establish a meaningful order of worship; promote the music programs of the Church and encourage enlistment and training of the Adult and Youth Choirs; be responsible for inviting guest ministers when the minister is to be away; oversee sanctuary decorations and flowers; enlist and oversee the ushers and music committee and encourage the development of family and private devotions on the part of the members.
HOME BENEVOLENCE FUND COMMITTEE
The object of this committee shall be to disburse necessary funds to help meet the needs of those in financial difficulty. The membership of this committee shall consist of the following: Two active elders, two active deacons, and the pastor.
